Ronen
Brafman Ph.D.

of automated decision
making and planning
algorithms and search
techniques, Dr. Brafman
has been a professor
of computer science
at Israel's Ben-Gurion
University since 1998.
Dr. Brafman
has served on the
program committee
of numerous leading
Artificial Intelligence
conferences, including AAAI, KR, and UAI.
He is a member of
the editorial board
of the Journal
of Artificial Intelligence
Research and the
Decision and Reasoning
under Uncertainty
section of the Electronic
Transactions in the
Artificial Intelligence
Journal. Ronen
is also an academic
member of the STRIMM
consortium.
Dr. Brafman received
his B.Sc. in Mathematics
(Magna Cum Laude) and
M.Sc. (Summa Cum Laude)
in Computer Science
from the Hebrew University
of Jerusalem. He received
his Ph.D. in Computer
Science from Stanford
University where his
dissertation on agent
models won the Arthur
Samuel Memorial Thesis
Award for best thesis.

20 years ago, Mr.
Dror has held various
technical and management
positions. Mr. Dror
was instrumental in
the formation of DNV
Certification in the
United States and
then assumed the position
of Regional Manager
for DNV's Region Western
Europe. Mr. Dror returns
to the US, from the
Netherlands, to take
up the position of
General Manager for
DNV's certification
activities in the
Americas, with responsibilities
for North America,
Mexico, Central and
South America. He
holds an MS degree
in Engineering from
MIT, an Executive
MBA from the University
of Houston and a BS
degree in Engineering
from Texas A&M
University.

former faculty member
at the Wharton School
of the University
of Pennsylvania, where
he directed research
and taught economic
and statistical analysis
of business, government
and litigation problems.
Dr. Schinnar has a
diverse consulting
portfolio in globalization
of business, corporate
governance, executive
compensation, and
corporate performance
management.
In these engagements
he has applied managerial
economics and operations
research methods to
improve the deployment
of human resources,
supply chains, market
competition, health
care, and government
services. Before joining
Exponent, Inc., Dr.
Schinnar was a Principal
Consultant at William
E. Wecker
Associates, Inc. He
holds a Ph.D. from
Carnegie Mellon University,
a Master in Architecture
from SUNY at Buffalo,
and Bachelor of Environmental
Design from Texas
A&M University.
